Wix is great for getting started, but a lot of businesses outgrow it. We move your site to WordPress the right way, handling the redirects and SEO details that make or break a Wix migration, so you end up with a faster, more flexible site you actually own.
Your Wix site stays live until launch. No broken pages. No ranking drops.

Wix is a closed platform. It doesn’t give you a clean export of your pages, design, or content, and there’s no reliable one-click tool that moves a Wix site to WordPress. On top of that, Wix uses URL paths like /post/ and /blog-1/ that don’t exist in a normal WordPress setup. If those URLs aren’t handled deliberately, every ranked page can turn into a 404 the moment you switch over.
That’s where most DIY Wix migrations go wrong. We’ve done this move before, and we treat the parts that actually carry risk, the redirects and the SEO, as the main job, not an afterthought.
Because Wix content can’t be exported cleanly, this kind of move is hands-on. Here’s what we actually do, and why each part matters.
Since Wix won’t hand over your pages, we rebuild them in WordPress manually. That sounds slow, but when the design is staying the same, having your existing site to work from makes it move fast. Your text, images, structure, and pages come over intact, just on a platform you control.
This is the part that protects your SEO. We map every old Wix URL to its new WordPress URL and set up proper 301 redirects. Search engines and any links pointing at your old pages follow them to the right place, so you keep your rankings and your traffic, while moving to cleaner, more search-friendly URLs.
Beyond redirects, we carry over your page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text so the signals search engines already trust stay in place. The goal is for Google to see your new WordPress pages as the same pages it already ranks, just at new addresses.
Running a store on Wix? We migrate your products, categories, and content into WooCommerce on WordPress, and map your existing product and category URLs to redirects so you don’t lose ranked store pages in the move.
Wix hosting is locked to their platform, so we build your new WordPress site on a separate staging environment. Your Wix site stays live the entire time. Once the new site is reviewed and tested, we handle the cutover with near-zero downtime so your visitors never see an interruption.
If your domain is registered through Wix, you’ve got options. We can repoint your DNS to the new WordPress site and leave the domain where it is, or transfer the domain to a registrar of your choice. We’ll walk you through which approach fits your situation.
Every site is different, but the goal is always the same: get you off Wix and onto WordPress cleanly, without losing the rankings and traffic you’ve already earned.
